PERI Statement of U.S. Dept. of Labor Dispute
The following is a company statement regarding a U.S. Dept. of Labor investigation of PERI
PERI is committed to complying with U.S. immigration law. Going forward, we have engaged new legal counsel for immigration matters. This firm will, among other things, conduct quarterly audits of PERI's H1B case files to verify that we are in full compliance with DOL requirements.
"We truly understand the seriousness of this situation and are committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure there can be no question that we are in full compliance", said PERI CEO Sarav Periasamy.
We have a passion for our business and employees at PERI. We've already hired a new management team that will competently handle the H1B Visa Program. We are also retaining an experienced U.S. Immigration and Employment law firm to conduct quarterly audits of PERI's H1B case files. This will ensure we are always in full compliance with DOL requirements.
In addition, PERI is launching a training program in an effort to increase the number of Americans employees. It seeks to reduce offshore hiring and become a model for other companies. PERI looks forward to expanding its business solutions and integration services and developing new partnerships with the goal of creating jobs and hiring more American workers at PERI.
