PERI Wi-Mesh is a standalone but secure solution for remote but distributed WLAN networks using the Wireless Mesh technology. Mesh networks are robust and self correcting networks made up by a collection or network of nodes which are self contained and ruggedized. The networks can be erected anywhere with or without external power in a few minutes. Each node provides a unified, extended, secure WLAN and Access point which may or may not be connected to Internet.
The network can be deployed with ease in few minutes. It can also be moved or dismantled quickly. This mobile Wi-Fi can be used for planning disaster rescue operations, evidence gathering (such as uploading of photographs to a central server in the Wi-Fi network or on the Internet) or coordinating relief operations (such as fire or floods) or coordinating operations among mobile members as well as with central command. This network can also be used to support such critical and essential operations and can link the ground team(s) with the central command center in a secure manner.

Transparent Functionality - Each node works as a layer-2 repeater, allowing users to roam about freely within the expanded coverage area without any interrupted service or IP address change.
True Layer-2 Repeater - Each node is able to overcome 802.11 protocol limitations and enable layer-2 user authentication at your subscriber/access gateway.
Always-ON Wi-Fi Access Point - Each node is always on even if there is no connection to the Internet providing local WLAN connectivity.
Rugged Enclosure - Rugged enclosure enables the deployment in a variety of locations and embedded applications. It also has solar charging units to charge the node in absence of a fixed or reliable power source.
